1 tsp salt
2 tsp oregano
2 T olive oil

Instructions
First, clean off your workspace, and clean it thoroughly. Put some music on to set the vibe, I listened to Nora Fellas playlist "Sexy Dinner Party" on Spotify, it is a must! Then, wash your hands really well, and let's get to business! Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a pizza pan or large jelly roll pan and set aside. Put warm water into a large bowl. Add sugar and yeast and then stir to combine. Then, let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, or until it becomes frothy and the bubbles start to form. Add olive oil and gently stir to combine. ( I added a little bit of oregano during this part.) Add 2 cups of flour and salt and mix with a spatula until a ball begins to form (the dough will be a little tacky still). Continue to add more flour as needed to form a dough ball. Transfer your dough ball to a floured surface and knead 10- 15 times into a smooth dough, adding flour as you need. Place the dough into an oiled bowl (olive oil) for about 15 minutes, with a towel on top the bowl. Let the dough rise until it almost doubles in size.
Wash your tomatoes, and mushrooms! On your cutting board, slice your tomatoes in halves, then slice the mushrooms. Smash the garlic, then finely mince it. Then set aside. Take out your toppings you are going to be using. Such as the mozzarella cheese, the pesto, and thyme!
Your ball of dough should be done rising by now! Gently transfer your dough ball into your prepared pan. Spread the dough using your fingertips and make the edges thicker. Then sprinkle some sea salt and oregano on the surface. Bake on the middle rack of your preheated oven for about 6 minutes, just to get the dough a little toasty before topping it!
After 6 minutes, take out your dough. Spread the pesto on the surface of the pizza leaving a little room where the edges are. Top with half of the mushrooms, then sprinkle some cheese on top. Then add your sliced cherry tomatoes, the other half of the mushrooms, the minced garlic, and more cheese. Sprinkle sea salt, dried thyme, and olive oil on top. Bake in the oven for about 17-22 minutes, or until the crust looks a bit crispy, and lightly browned. Let it cool, slice, then serve!!
Buon appetito!
Insider:
This pizza is such a game changer! It pairs great with Trader Joes Balsamic Glaze, and a glass of wine! I made this for my friend, Noelle and I , and when I took that first bite I was blown away, SPEECHLESS! I had never made anything taste the way this does (So I had to share the recipe!). Every bite tasted just as amazing as the first. It was still that dense, but fluffy texture, with a burst of tomato and mushroom, then the pull of the cheese and the small but subtle crunch from the crust. I cant remember what life was like before this pizza, Domino-who? I hope you enjoy making and eating the pizza as much as I did ! Take good care of this recipe, make sure you share it with your closest ones! If you have any questions please leave a comment. Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe!
enjoy.
